    Default Mallory 685

    I picked up a Mallory 685 ignition box and I've been looking at it trying to figure out how to hook it up. Anyone have any ideas? Gonna to use it to spray

    Msd plug and play coil harness makes it a piece of cake! I think theyre only like 30 bucks or so.

    the msd coil harness will work with the mallory box? do they make a mallory harness?

    Yes thats the easiest way to hook it up! No splicing. The color codes are different hooking the msd harness up to a mallory 685 box. Red to Red, Black to Black, White to Green, Orange to Yellow. Part numbers for the harness are 8877 for single connector or 8876 for dual connector coil..

    I have both, #8877 is for a GM single connector (96-97) and #8876 is for GM dual connector (93-95). $36.00 + shipping on either one.
