Hi everyone I'm new here and looking for some info on installing these on my factory cam car. They where giving to me new. I already have some 787 retainers lying on the work bench and they fit pretty well. Will the factory locators work? The car is staying factory cam just bolt-ons only"I know I'm boring"lol

factory locators are a lil larger than the ID of the spring. Eirger remove and uise a flat washer or use LS locators and machine the hole in center to .565 instead of ..505.

they look close to working but the spring will not sit flat on the LT locators.

Thank you Sir for the input. I measured the inside diameter of the springs with a caliper and came up with .850 inside diameter and outside diameter of 1.29. I was checking out comp cams site and found 4863-16 locators. Would these work?
