I have pics of mine but on an old computer. I took a piece of stainless and covered the hole pop riviting it in. I then took a piece of 1/4 flat and made roughly a 3/4 block to go under the back on the end toward the rear of the car. Then dripped/tapped my mounting holes. Then I welded it to the tunnel. Mine is simple and I was welding the cage in anyways. However look around. I think there may even be a company that makes a piece to work

Not great pics, but Pro-Ratchet installed in a 6-speed car, using the 6-speed console. Daily driving is OK with the boot on it. Track, take the boot off.

It is just on spacers. My car used to be auto, then converted to six speed, now back to auto. I just made a plate to cover the hole, secured and seam sealed it. Nothing special to mount it.
1996 camaro Z28, Clayton racing 398, Rossler TH350 rmvb with brake, FTI billet race converter 4400, Dana S60 with 4.10's, 300 shot, Accel DFI controlled, UMI, Spohn, PA racing, QA1's, Baer brakes, 325/45/17 M&H, Caged, Corbeau's, Simpson, etc.
From zero to fuck yeah in 3 seconds.

You just need to cut a thin steel, or heavier aluminum plate to cover the entire hole in the floor pan where the manual shifter came through. Has to be bent to match the contour of the floor pan. You can see a cut in mine where it had to bend on the left side toward the back. Lots of sheet metal screws or pop rivets, using body sealer to prevent exhaust from entering the cabin. Add a grommet for wiring. I have the VSS wire through the plate, to a Dakota Digital speedo calibration box tucked under the console.
With the cover plate in place, use spacers to shim the base of the shifter to level, and the correct height. You can see from my pics that there are various thickness spacers.Last edited by Injuneer; 11-14-2015 at 10:54 AM.

The 4L60E VSS reluctor wheel has more pulses per mile (40) than an M6 reluctor wheel (17). You have to reprogram the PCM with an A4 program to reflect that. What you need to do will depend on how many pulses per revolution the 4L80E uses on the VSS, and what you are using to control the transmission. I am not familiar with the 4L80E details at all.
I have a TH400, with the VSS from a late 90's GM pickup. I never reprogrammed my stock M6 PCM with an A4 program, so my speedo/odo was reading 2.3 X the real speed. Rather than reprogram the stock PCM (which is only used for VSS, IAC and a couple of emissions items) I picked up the Dakota Digital SGI-5 box, which can be used to easily adjust for rear gears and tire diameter, without screwing around with the PCM. Many years ago (17?) I had a copy of LT1_Edit, but the laptop it was on is crashed and long gone.SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.
