water flow direction
Hi all. I'm in the middle of adding a GloShift Gauges water temp sensor and I'm using their radiator hose adapter kit. I need to "cut the upper radiator hose" and install the adapter. It's a pretty straightforward procedure but I want to make sure I cut the correct radiator hose. IIRC LT1s are reverse-flow(?). The gauge sensor needs to be installed "before the thermostat" so would that be the radiator hose to the right or to the left (looking from the front of the car to the engine compartment)? The hose to the right is the actual upper hose and the left hose is the lower. The lower hose is actually attached to the thermostat housing.
Sorry, proabably a pretty dumb question but I want to be sure before proceeding.
Thanks,

Before the thermostat would be the passenger side I believe.
