ls1 lid on a lt1 z28
Alright so I'm sure someone can help me out here. 95 z28 I considering running a ls1 lid on it. Is anyone here running one ? What do I have to do to make it fit ? Would you run one or is it a waste of time lol.

i put one on mine, it does give it a clean look but alot of work for little to no gain.
i had the harwood ram air hood, and went with a ls1 radiator support. had to cut and hack it up alot just to get the hood to shut.

Running a lid here as well. I wound up with a noticeable improvement in throttle response that was well worth the effort. Granted, I didn't think it took much to install. I did not have AC (no condenser) so I could move the radiator all the way forward before leaving back. Plenty of room in front of the water pump. Also, I opted not to use the LS1 radiator support. Instead, I notched the core support to set the filter down in to. The lid then sat flush on the core support and fit fine under my VFN hood.

I was running a stock, angled radiator to begin with. Here's a shot of the notch after switching to a vertical setup.
