I've got the Eibach Sportlines (2 inch drop) on my car and the ride is pretty rough. Not that it was a luxury ride before though. It's tolerable. Only thing is that speed bumps and railroad tracks feel brutal. With that said, I love the way she looks coming down the road now.

Can a Lounge Moderator move this to suspension?
Mine rides great. I can't give an honest comparison because both of my Z28s were stock height and I bought my SS lowered and it's obviously got a completely different suspension (shocks, swaybars, etc.) but it drives great. I suppose it could be a little rough, but it's very managable as I daily drive my SS when I can and put ~10k miles on it the first year I had it.
As stated above, my biggest complaint about having a lowered application and having to be very careful around potholes, speed bumps, inclines, etc. I also can't pull up too close to a curb or I could chip my lower front bumper if the curb is tall enough.

I put LS1 eibach sportlines in my car. Bout a 2.5 front / 2.25 rear drop. Then i put too small tires (255/40/17 instead of 45 series), then i put longtubes. Now it rides like a brick and scrapes over anthills.. LOL

I have no idea what springs are on my car, but its lowered. You will more then likely feel everything you hit on the road. Mine ride's fairly rough.

I think mine actually rode better. But I did shocks also and almost any shock is an improvement over the stock decrapons.

Mine is lowered with Drop Zone springs. Its 1.5 in the back and turned out to be .5 in the front. I bought this car already lowered. The car was 2.5 hours from my house and being 48 years old I was very concerned about it being lowered. The owner told me on the phone that I would not be disappointed when I went for a ride. I was telling him that for an old man I needed as good a ride as I could get. So I drove out to look at it. I love the car being lowered. It looks good, and handles good. That is the only thing done to it also. I say go for it, its not that bad.Just don't go too low. Barney

the pros will definatly out wiegh the cons,,,but i would definatly put a nice set of shocks on with the springs ,,,. you will be sorry if you stick with the stockers with the lowering springs
in my oppinion its not a job you wanna do without doing both..

You should be ok. Even with it being a DD, its very tolerable. And you have to realize, it isn't a luxury car at all. To me, if my car rode very smooth and felt like a boat, I'd be iffy to take corners with any speeds at all.
