    Default WTB: Stock ECU

So the story goes, my buddy went to get his car dynoed, and they apparently couldn't get a reading on his ecu. Hes got hotcam, and pacesetters, rest stock. The wiring harness was replaced recently because the one that came with the car had stupid cuts, and missing pieces. So he doesn't think it's the wiringharness, that leaves the ecu/pcm. Car is a 96 formula M6, if anyone has tips to fix his issue, or is selling a pcm for cheap hook a brotha up!

He's obd2 now, wouldn't that require some sort of conversion to get to obd1?

Yeah, the port that you plug into under the steering wheel. If connections are loose it doesnt like to connect to the pcm

Interesting, I'll pass the word along. The car runs just fine, had bad idle after switching headers, but with deletes he says it idles smooth. Pulls really well at WOT, so I think it's odd bad pcm is the prob.... But what do I know.
