Rocker quality is mainly determined by failure rate. Scorpions fail more often than many other 'high end' brands, so therefore they are considered lower quality by some people. I am on of them. I prefer to use rockes with a low margin of failure for $100 more rather than gamble and throw away a motor. A motor is only as strong as it's weakest part and rockers see alot of action so why go cheap?
I ran 'old' Pro Mags I bought used on a budget for, hell, 8 years with zero problems. I put 100k miles on them and that's after stew94z had used them for a while. I now run Ultra Pro Mags in my 1994 and Stainless Pro Mags in my 1995. No problems with either.Last edited by Bersaglieri; 07-30-2013 at 02:35 AM.

Supporting MemberHigher rate of failure due to quality? Or higher rate of failure because they cost less and unknowledgeable people buy them and install them improperly?
Jay this is in no way saying you did etc, just stating a possibility for scorpions getting a bad name.2021 Charger Scat 392

My buddy has a set of Scorpions going on 60,000 miles, revving to 6200 regularly, hasn't had a problem. So I bought them for my current build.
