I got a 93 LT1 and whenever I press pedal down rpm drops down and starts to backfire. Car has new distributor, new ICM, new coil, new sparkplugs, new msd wires. I checked for DTCs I got 3 that I'm wondering about.

    #16- low res. Pulse 5.7
#22- TPS circuit (signal voltage low)
    #42- Ignition control circuit

Please help any info would be great!!

I hate to say it but to me it sounds like either your ignition control module or your optispark is bad. Have you checked the harness that goes down the passenger side of the intake manifold and plugs into the optispark? Maybe that harness isn't clipped in good?

Here's a list of all OBD1 DTCs and what would cause each --
