No a boosted setup is gona cost alot more than na setup. Im not being a ass but i think you need to stop were u r at. You need do alot more research and have a good plan before building. If not u will have a piss poor motor and wont be happy with the results. I built a cheap bottem end on my 1st build and ended up throwin a rod with then a year. So ive been the there.

Make your big budged bigger then. But 500 RWHP on a boosted 355 you can do without breaking a sweat. Do a stock crank, forged rods/pistons, get a set of ported LT1 heads and a matched cam, and shove boost through it. 500 RWHP all day long, very very easy to build.
I'd do the stock crank, a set of Eagle Forged H-Beam rods, Diamond pistons (dished to match up with your heads/gaskets to make about a 9.5:1 SCR), get some LE3 or LE4 heads/intake/custom cam setup. That above will be roughly $4-5K after all machining, etc. Then you're gonna need to figure about $4-5K for the FI setup (even used, you're gonna need to have things checked out, refreshed, etc.). Then remember ancillary mods like fuel system modifications (injectors, regulator, secondary in-tank pump, but you can use your stock lines), meth injection, driveline upgrades, etc.
An N/A 383 combo built right but pushing maxed out will get you the same results as above, but cheaper. However, the above setup will allow you room to grow and add more power for a while without costing another arm and leg.
You really need to assess if this is what you want/can afford, and plan your build out.

What are doin with the car. Is it your dd, street/strip, all out drag car?
