LT1 heads ?
Can our LT1 heads fit another older sbc motor? A 350 motor from '79? A 350/305 from '89?

no, im no expert but i believe not due to the reverse water flow? someone can back me up on this.

YES, this has been done on thirdgen.org.. it requires welding and redrilling but no too much.
For the price of used Lt1 heads at 200.00 the welding of the water ports and redrilling at 60.00 remote thermostat housing at 50.00 you will then be ready to use these heads on a conventional 350.
