i have been to both and work with both shops ... i will go to bo (aps) before andre (able), Able racing is a highend shop but they are mainly a jap car shop. all i ever see at the shop is Honda's and Mitsubishi's ... that being said i am sure he can tune you car but at APS. you see mustangs, camaros and firebirds, new and old. its more of a V8 shop.
but go talk to both in person and check out their shops.
when i was looking for a tuner ... Bo said he could tune it as is but suggested i do a little work first before i need a real tune
and Andre said he could do it BUT, ONLY if it had a MSD opti and ONLY in Speed Density. he's said that the stock opti is a piece of junk and they fail all the time and make tuning hard.
i had Bo do some 3.73 gears in my car and they failed after 258 miles ... he said that the pinion gear twisted and showed me the marking grease to prove it. so i just bought a total new rear with 3.42's and in put it in for free and apologized that my first experience with his shop was a bad one. that made feel better.94 Formula "budget build" #thebeaterbird
