    Default Aftermarket gauge question

Ok I am wanting to put an a/f ratio gauge in my 95 a4 along with a trans temp gauge. I want to mount them on the pillar or gauge cluster area (but havent seen any pods for gauge area). I was wondering where you tap into the trans for the temp, can you just buy a finned aluminum pan with the bung already welded in? Also how would you recommend routing the wires to the cabin a pillar area? Thank you

plug the sensor into the pressure port. I have noticed no difference whether the sensor is there or in the pan.

run the wires through the firewall on the pcm side would be easiest.

Most transmission temp gauge kits come with the stuff to put it inline one of the cooler lines. The pressure side is ideal since its coming right out of the trans.
