I know of a guy whoes manifold was glowing because of a clogged up cat and muffler, but that was on a 1977 Ford Truck. I was just throwing it out there, I like to look for simple solutions first.

Well,I changed the plugs and the damn thing still runs ruff and has no power.I noticed on top of the exhuast manifold they eliminated the back pressure valves on both sides. Also, the optispark doen't have that little tit on the bottom right corner which my original opti had.My car is a 94' formula "stock".How do I check and see if I have a vac leak?
