If you're not running a larger cam it might not make a difference. If they offer retunes maybe you could ask them to do some work in the part throttle areas.

just run your wires underneath and put a dei wire sheathing on them . its simple and quick and you dont have to move them for valve adjustment or anything .
i have my back primarys ran that way .

God. LT install was hell. I too burned straight through 3 or 4 wires by the second day. Now all that holds them from complete annihilation is a shit ton of heat wrap and zip ties all over my engine bay. I can't wait 'til I go to mids.
Also, can't stress enough how much a PITA the bolts are if you don't use locking bolts. I still haven't used locking bolts, but the first month or so with the LT's, I must have burned through 2 sets of gaskets even though I'd double check their seating every day. Now, I only hope they've completely rusted into place. Class.1993 z28 - stalled and bolted
