New Upstate New York Member
Hi! I'm Greg. I live in Upstate New York.
I recently purchased a '96 Trans Am WS6 from an existing member in the Syracuse area. 38k miles. Near mint. She's beautiful! This will be my summer toy/show car.
*Note* The pics below were taken by the previous owner. I have yet to take some of my own...

Well, it's currently modded a bit. I believe the previous owner said I'm running on 17'' ZR1 style wheels. The exhaust consists of a Pacesetter header and Y pipe, mated to a Magnaflow cat-back.
I will be getting the windows tinted 50% all around. There's a few tiny little paint imperfections that I will get touched up. I'd like to paint the calipers red, or buy red calipers. I'd like to put a Trans Am, Pontiac, or WS6 decal on the calipers to make them stand out a bit more. I'd also like to paint the rear PONTIAC lettering black, or get some sort of black PONTIAC decal to make the lettering stand out. Additionally, I'd like to paint the front bumper cover bird black, or get a black bird decal to make it stand out as well. Finally, I'd like to put a subwoofer and amp in the trunk along with a tasteful enclosure. Perhaps a single 10'', two 10''s, or a single 12''.
I'm sure there will be more to come...but for the time being that's what I have in mind. That should keep me busy for a summer or two.
And, no, I haven't named her yet. I've just been referring to her as THE BEAST to my friends

I went out your way to look at several Trans Ams before I purchased this one. I was looking for about 5 years or so. I finally decided to take the plunge.
This will be a fun car to drive on clear summer days. I also plan on taking it to a lot of car shows. The previous owner won 2nd place in an all Trans Am car show somewhere in the Albany area a year or two ago. It's a very clean car.

Im not sure I havent heard of one but it might have been at guptills the do a lot of car shows. We do have albany rods and customs which is a big car club. They usually host the Nationals up in Lake George. I usually go up to Lake George car show to look around. Im not sure if ill go this year because since the economy tanked there doesn't seem to be to many new cars there.
