testing optispark
Can I test my opti to make sure, 100% its shot? SHBox.com has the pin out of the opti. Could I follow these directions and see what happens?
http://shbox.com/1/95_ign_system_schematic.jpg
ICM Harness
A = ~10vdc-12vdc (or your system voltage)
B = 1vac-4vac while
cranking
C = 0 ohms to ground
D = ~10vdc-12vdc (or your system voltage)
At the end of the optispark harness (disconnected from the opti) with the
key ON, you should see:
Optispark Harness
A = ~5vdc
B = ~5vdc
C = ~12vdc (or your system voltage)
D = ~0 - 0.2
ohms ground
