building trans
Now I know I.don't post up on here a lot but I'm always reading everything I can that u guys say. Now I'm branching out and asking u guys for ur opinion. I called up shift right transmissions in kankakkee IL. Now I know I have a freind name Jason got his built there and had no problem. So I called him up and asked how much would it be to get me a 4l60e that can hold 600hp with a stall of 3800 and he said 1624 with out tax. Now I'm just wondering is that a good price and is there better places out there that u guys would pefer

That is relatively cheap if it includes converter. Lots of popular choices out there include but are not limited to CPT, Performabuild, RPM, etc. Call up a few sponsors and see what they recommend. Building a transmission (especially a 4L60E) is something that you do not want to sacrifice quality for price by any means.
