Don't you hate it when,
you pull your car in the garage to just do a quick cleaning and then the next thing you know, your seats, whole stereo, headlamps are all taken out to improve things.
Grrr, I was planning on calling for places to live in Detroit all day tomorrow but now it looks like I am making an amp rack to put behind the rear seat

I like it...my friend has that bad though one day we were just gonna pull his old carpet next thing we know he's got me running to a metal shop picking up sheets of aluminum and we built a back seat delete a whole new center console what was a 20 second job turned into a 3 hour fabrication job.

I'm the same way. A leaky water pump has led to me getting everything for a cam swap together. Now I'm thinking of buying some heads while I'm at it.

Been there, done that. On my last daily driver, all i wanted to do was replace the ball joints.. I had it appart, went to put the new ones in and decided.. this thing looks like crap under here, so i spent the next 3 days ripping off the entire suspension, sanding it all down and painting it, putting new bushings in etc. Just to pull it directly out of the garage into a snow storm. It's part of the hobby I guess.. lol

I have the same problem! I was working on my 81 camaro that was primer and just installed new headlights and was adjusting them and i ended up reblocking the entire nose and repriming it!! Needless to say it looked great afterwards @.@
