    Default Clutch locked up

I was cruising down the interstate and the car shut off when I pushed in the clutch. I tried to start it back and the clutch tried to engage but juat chugged the engine. After the second time, the clutch locked up and the pedal will not go down. Any ideas???

Pull your slave cylinder out and see if the rod is bent. If it isn't, make sure the ball end of it is mating with the groove in the clutch fork.

I would do what sc.schultz says. Sounds like a pressure plate or throw out bearing failure.
