limit to the 2 bolt main
Am building a 383 with 2 bolt mains and am curious how far the 2 bolt mains can be pushed. It is line honed and studded.

Depends on what you have planned really. N/A? Spray? Boost? HP? RPMs?
Fact is a studded 2-bolt LT1 can handle quite a bit, probably more than you think, when it is set up PROPERLY with GOOD components and hardware. I was originally planning on using a 2-bolt block for my 383 build but came across a 4-bolt block for dirt cheap.-Joe-
