    Default BUZZING RELAY

I have a really weird problem. I have a relay that is buzzing that is under the glovebox area. I think it is the theft relay. I tried replacing the relay and the new one just buzzes louder. I am going to try and describe when and how it is working. The car wont start with it removed. When I start it, and it is in park or nuetral with the doors closed, the relay buzzes and the overhead lights on the rearview mirror are on but a little dimmer than when the door is open. When I open either of the doors, it stops buzzing and the lights are on at a normal brightness. When I put the car in drive or reverse or any other drive gear, it stops buzzing and the rearview mirror lights go out. I tried taking out the door light switches and as soon as I finish unthreading the switch from the jamb, it starts buzzing, but as soon as I touch it to the door jamb to ground it, it stops buzzing again (with the door open). This seemed to start happening when I put a new radio and front door speakers in the car. I tried unplugging the radio from the harness and it still does this. When the radio is in turned on but the volume down, and the relay is buzzing, I hear a slight buzz coming through the front door speaker. Does anyone have any idea what my problem is? Sorry this was sooo long, but I thought I would give as much info as I remembered about this. Oh, by the way, the car is a '95 Camaro Z28

Well, I think I got it fixed. I stumbled upon it and I think it was the wires that run on the drivers door and go to the lock mechanism. I took off all of the electrical tape and re-taped them because it was looking pretty bad anyway and wanted to see if there was a bad wire. I think the bussing would change a little when I was wiggling the wires when I was trying to figure out what was going on. When I went to put the door panel back on, I saw that this bundle of wires was running right where the lower bolt for the armrest goes through and bolts to the door. I think it was getting pinched and messing it up there causing the feedback at the relay. It did kinda make sense that it could be there since it would happen when the door was closed and not when it was open. Anyway, it is working fine now. It just so happend that I was installing a new radio and the 2 front speakers when it happened. I guess it turned out to be operator/installer error.
