    Default Lost 3rd, 4th, etc.

Well yesterday I downshifted into D to climb a huge hill. Since then, I lost 3rd, 4th and it is apparently constantly slipping in 2nd as of today. Just driving down the road, smell the fluid burning and temp was at 210 with smoke pouring out the back. Is this a matter of simple rebuild? Do you think it could take the torque converter as well at those high of temperatures? I couldn't pull off for about 30 seconds so I was cruising at 3500 rpms just trying to go down the street...

T56 time or rebuild I guess would be my choice at this stage... I would miss the TC so much though.

I was just driving home after a quick highway run when mine went out, but no smoke came out because right after that my car died for some reason. T56 time for sure!
