    Not really... I got by just fine owning one in high school. ANY car is going to need a oil change. It comes down to self control... if money's tight, you shouldn't be modding the car. But with normal maintenance, a LTx f-body can very well be a reliable daily driver. Granted, I'd recommend having a beater if you're in a region that gets bad weather.
