I would still balance it if it were me. And even if those shops have built plenty of motors still doesn't say they know what they are talking about or know what the are doing.
I learned the hard way about that. I mean do what ever you like. As I said if it would be off it wouldn't be much on a stock for stock motor. I would still rather be safe than sorry how ever.
