nitrous project (lots of pics)
ok so you guys asked for it wen i joined so here it is.
the car:
95 camaro z28
6 speed
ttops
motor:
383 lt1 (possibly 388)
.060 overbore
diamond pistons
total seal rings
eagle forged H 6" rods
forged eagle crank
clevite bearings
splayed main caps
arp main studs
arp head studs
goin with tea 220cc trickflow heads
and a custom grind cam solid roller
drivetrain:
t56 goin with a few small upgrades
strange 3" chromoly drivshaft
moser 9" 3.70 gears with a locker
chassis/suspension:
spohn chassis mount torque arm with both ds loops
lakewood lca's
spohn drag sway bar
pa racing chromoly kmember
spohn lower a arms
spohn adj panhard bar
strange sa upfront
kyb agx rear(for now)
10pt cage
umi 3pt frame connectors
ls1 front brak upgrade
so it started out as a minor rebuild and this is wat its become. planning on spraying a 200 shot on it. the engine isnt built yet its being finished up at the machine shop most parts ive bought used from ppl spent about 6300 on everything so far and the motor/axels are a total of about 3800 from the machine shop. the axels needed new bearings and studs. i may hav missed some thing. here's a bunch of pics of wat i hav and wats been done so far (not to much on the car more gathering parts then work)

looks good .i would like to see how the coil setup works.is it a LS set?

the coils are for an ls car but the whole kit is the ltcc harness and computer

i picked the block up off of a guy for a good price the block was already .040 over. they didnt wanna go .050 over because then itd need custom pistons. so they did .060 which im not to thrilled about i feel its wearin the walls pretty thin but cant change it now

well a slightly frustrating night spent on the car. took the trans off the old motor and got the old motor off the kmember onto a stand. got the headers and ory off. the trans was a pain in the a$$!!! pissed me off alot. i was completly covered in old oil cant wait to get new clean parts in. the old clutch was fried! there was nothin left of it. got work tomorrow then i may spend a few more hrs on it. here's the only pic i took
