Spark plug reading
Been tuning the car myself on the street/track I have the fuel where I feel comfortable. Right around 12.5 at WOT and 14.5 area when cruising and it idles nicely now. I haven't touched the timing though. I don't show any knock retard anywhere through the rpm range. I went to try and read some plugs today to try and adjust timing but I'm not sure I'm doin it right. I put a brand new plug in and with almost no idle time went WOT threw second and cut it right off. Pulled the new plug out and I can see a mark on the strap but not much color change on thread ring/porcelain. Is that not enough run time to get an accurate read? Before putting new plug in I got temp in the motor.
