Victor intake
Thinking of going to a Victor jr intake in search of higher shift points. Car is 3600 with me in it and will run 11.68 to 12.00 flat depending on weather. It seems to fall off after 5600. Motor is a 355 with AI heads and cam. Carb is a 780 Holley made custom for the car. What do you folks think about this cam and ,my shift points?

It should pull to at least 6500. Who did the install? Who tuned the carb? How much timing is it getting?

Ya that motor shouldn't fall off at 5800. You have a wideband ? And like Joel said what kind of timing ? Plug gap? Ignition ?

No wideband, doing the plug read thing. ( went up and down on jets a couple of number till I got the nice brownish strap. I sent all my info when I was doing the build to DUI and had a custom HEi done for the motor. I thing the timing is locked at 28 @ 3000. Feels strong off the line short times are 1.57 to 1.66 again depending on weather.
