    Not saying you shouldn't do NSAs but most of the stuff we do with cars is basically a gamble. People will preach you need to spend X number of dollars on crank, rods, etc. but seem to experience almost the same number of failures as those who went cheaper (forged stuff of course) with the power levels typically dealt with in most applications. Not saying the grade of metal used in some isn't superior, nor the finish machining but most times outside sources or improper installation/assembly of the individual part cause it to fail an overwhelming amount of times more than the part itself.

    and considering half the guideplates on the market dont line up right except for the tac weld isky's, id rather just use SA and be done with it. i know i dont hit 6500+rpm often, thats just me though
