Passenger side dash question

Is there any way to fix the passenger side of my dash? The part that covers the air bag is coming up on the edges. I'm going to drop a bunch of money on a new dash pad, so I'd like to get the whole thing looking nice. Is there anything I can do to fix it, or should I be looking for a whole new dash?

I'll get a couple pictures to show what I'm talking about.

Here are the problem areas. The edges are hard and seem pretty brittle. What are my options for this?
