    Default Need some input

So I just recently acquired a 94 formula and had to replace the lifters in it. I got the lash adjustment as close as possible with the engine off an left the valve covers off to make more adjustments if need be. After starting the car and going through and making sure that there was no more erratic tapping noise coming from the lifters. I noticed that there is still a slight noise, I'm not sure if this noise is normal or not because I'm new to the lt1 and push rod motors. It does not get any louder with throttle. Is this normal?
The issue that I am having is when I give it throttle in neutral it is real smooth above 1500 rpms. But right at 1500 rpms I notice that there is a little vibration. I can see the steering wheel shaking, but not above 1500. What could be causing this problem? I'm not able to drive it yet because I'm still waiting for my new tires to come in.

So I just replaced my optispark. But still got to put on some accessories so still not finished. Hopefully this will fix my issues. This is what I fouls when I opened up the old optispark. Corrosion on the rotor tip and all the tips that are around the housing and also around the lens.
