    Default 94 Corvette Tranny seals question

    Hey guys, got the vette up in the air ready to replace the leaking transmission seals and realized the exhaust is completely blocking the driveshaft and the tranny except for the pan... I'm praying one of you know some secret trick to getting the driveshaft out without having to remove the whole exhaust system, since it looks like it's all one piece from the manifolds on back... Please help, guys!

    Does the exhaust have to be removed in order to get the driveshaft out?

    Yep, no way around it unfortunately, it blocks everything from the transmission tail on back to and including the rear end. Luckily it was a lot easier than I feared haha.

    An unfortunate downside to Vette's........anything driveline related results in exhaust coming down.
