    Default Oil Return line question

    Ok so new to the turbo scene Im about ready to button up the project I have a front mounted turbo and Im setting up the return line I have a sts oil pump I was thinking about running the return to the pump than to a oil cooler than to the pan has any one done this?

    You could, but why?

    Cooling oil, for it to dump back into a hot pan of it.

    I figured it would lower the overall oil temp and allow for a larger oil capacity without running a bigger pan

    Suppose you could, but I think it would be more beneficial to run the cooler before main engine feed not turbo.
