Hooker has always made good stuff. I run em on both of my LT1's, but obviously the choices maybe different for a 3rd Gen body style. Biggest thing with long tubes is ground clearance.

A buddy of mine is running a set of Dougs ceramic coated long tubes in his 89 Formula followed by a flowmaster merge Y-pipe and a 4" mufflex cat back. It doesn't have an LT1 but I think the SBC exhaust flange is the same as the LT1. They fit well and have good ground clearance for a set of long tubes.

Alright thank you, I was looking at a set of Doug's headers for around $500 I think I might just get them.
