Ignition Box/Controller
I have to figure out my ignition setup on my 94 Z28 and need help.
In short, I know absolutely nothing about how the ignition setup works on these cars.
Now, I am running a LT1 that was built for a 250 shot of nitrous. I would like an ignition box and progressive controller. Any suggestions?1994 Z28 - Forged 355/TDP T56. Heads, Cam, Nitrous, Suspension and no more opti!

OK, You can get a ignition timing retard box from MSD, It has a dial indicator that allows you to pull out I believe as much as 10 or 15 degrees. It use to be under $100.00. When you get up to the line and get ready to run, you dial back the amount of timing you want to pull out. This is not the ideal setup, but it works, I used it in the past as others. You can tell if you have it hooked up right because at idle, when you dial out the timing the car should start to stumble. This setup works better for a full nitrous shot out of the hole, Going progressive, it would not be ideal..
