All dash light lit

I have been searching for a little while with no luck finding an answer to my problem.

I purchased a 94 Z28 A4 a few weeks ago and while driving it home noticed the SES light intermitently going on and off and the security and seatbelt light staying lit. The ABS INOP light is on as well but i think i found my answer to that... the car has a 98-02 SS conversion on it (complete front end and spoiler) and it is missing the 3rd brake light.

I had to pull the trans out the night i got it home (needed a pump seal) and after getting everything back together i need to deal with this problem.

This is a continuous problem that i am having and i'm not exactly fond of having my dash lit up like a christmas tree lol.

Sorry if there is a thread about this already. I promise i searched!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your engine bay grounds.....especially the one right behind the battery.

i checked all the grounds that i could see and it looks like they are all good. I had to hook up a ground strap on the driver side "frame" to the engine block as it was just hanging down.

Any other ideas as to what could cause all the lights to be on?
