    Default Flywheel positioning for balance

I'll be installing my Ram billet aluminum flywheel I picked up along with a new competition clutches stg 2 this weekend (hopefully). I don't have any instructions for the flywheel as I got it secondhand completely rebuilt. I guess basically what I'm looking for is a few tips/directions on how to install the flywheel correctly to keep the external balance in the right spot. Never messed with an m6 lt1 so I haven't even had a look at it firsthand and I'll be working on a short schedule

ok, more research shows me that the flywheel is set with a dowel pin. good to know. now hoping my competition clutches pressure plate is zero balanced and doesn't have to be set in a certain way, because i can't find a mark on it to indicate which way it would go

I asked this question a while ago. I replaced my flywheel with a reman. one from Autozone, and it also had no alignment mark for the pressure plate. I was told to align the yellow mark on the pressure plate as close to the flywheel locating pin as possible. Been running it that way for 10k miles, no issues.
