Getting reacquainted

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Wayne Hardegree of LTxNation and my "Like page" Fbody Ltx/Lsx on FB. I want to try and get more involved over here too! Popo has asked me a few times to get over here but I've had so much going on.... I have two Ltx powered cars... My first love is my 95 Trans Am vert m6 3.42s 1 of 184 Bright Red in 95 and one of 598 verts that came with 6spd in 95, and my second is a 93 hardtop lt1 396 stroker, callies crank, compstar rods, JE forged pistons, stage 3 cnc ported heads and ported intake... But it's going with a single plane super victor efi intake with a elbow and 58mm TB. But may change the heads to a set of AFR ported heads... Decisions decisions... Lol... [emoji23] [emoji41]. The cnc ported heads I have were done by Combination Motorsports out of Las Vegas Nevada... So hopefully some of yall have heard of them as they are now out of business and I can't find any info on them! Thnx and looking forward to this great forum!!

The 396 I got with the car was on the engine stand and had never been started lol but it's been sitting about 10 years so I gotta pull it apart and clean and lube it....

Combination Motorsports used to do some good stuff back in the day. They were really excellent at being a one stop shop for cam/valvetrain packages that I can remember.

Guess what I'm really needing if flow numbers.... Lol.. I've found some on one of the pages but not sure exactly what I've got... I read the stage3 were actually lt4 heads and stage2 are lt1 heads which I have.... 643 is the cast numb I believe http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...a5477272d7.jpg

Thnx for the reply sir! I have these CM heads and a set of LE heads... Think I may sell both and get a set of AFR ported heads that'll do the 396 some real justice! Lol

This kit should take care of everything I need....

Wow, it even comes with spark plug wires. I like that.

That's why I got the works kit, it also comes with coil brackets too!

Yessir sure would have! But that's why I decided to take a peek at everything lol... Just hope those dish pistons aren't gonna give it too low of compression... I'm ordering AFR 227S comp ported race ready heads soon[emoji6] [emoji12] [emoji12] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Srp 40D...is all I've found so far.... Seem to be -16 dish from what I can find... I'll ck the pistons again but it'll be a few weeks as I drive a big truck over the road and just came home over for yesterday and leaving again lol

I'm finally back after a little over a year lol.. Man time has flown by... Well...I never got the title to the red 93 TA, so... I finally got the previous owner to buy it back! I took the money and bought a 89 Foxbody Coupe, I now have the Aje swap kmember with coilover conversion and I have just bought a used set of AFRs 220cc heads!! It been really slow but I've finally made progress in the right direction! I'm super stoked about the heads... They have some slight imperfections so they'll go off to Lloyd Elliot for touch up and probably new springs... Pics as follows..... I like this color orange so that's probably what I'll go with... Car already has a 8.8 with a 4.30 gears full spool... My best friend Dewayne has a Lsx sn95 with a 3.73 8.8 so I may swap with him... Same lt1 396 is going in my Foxbody with the th350 3600 TCI N2O stall.... I'll try not let it be so long with updates if at all possible but we all know life happens when you make plans! Thnx.. I think so too! Lol the Foxbody is gonna be light! lightened as much as possible... Hoping to get it down to around 2900 with me in the car! Lol

Dang I got a special place in my heart for a notchback. My 91 was gray also. Really miss that car. Wish I had pick of my 91. This was the last mustang I owned a couple years ago. Fun car too.
