Arc problem, Cannot solve at all. Anyone had this issue?

Im getting an arcing problem from all wires. I noticed the porcelin on the spark plugs glowing. Then following that got under the car to notice a laser light show. Arcing everywhere to the entire wire flashing bright white. Now ive noticed coil wire and even the coil itself is arcing out. coil is arcing to waterpump and to even the opti vacuum line.

new wires, new plugs, tried 2 coils. im losing my mind. just installed afr heads and a cam. started afterwards. grounds all fine. i dont even know what to do now im out of ideas. anyone else ever solve this?

New things installed were heads, cam, intake, tune. didnt have this issue before all this

What plugs? IIRC AFR's require a specific plug due to the seat in the head for the plugs. Also, what plug gap are you running? Remember spark travels the path of least resistance.

Any video of this happening I'm having a hard time picturing all that going on at once? I'm assuming it doesn't run and this occurs during cranking?

it runs. just misses a lot.

gasket style plugs. running autolites gapped at .040

What afr heads are u running. U have tonuse special plugs for the 227s...so Im wondering if Sean is right with what he said above...

Also...what wires are using and how old are they.

plugs are for the heads. they are afr 180s.

used msd 8.5s and had this issue so i thought it was them. put some 8mm taylors on there and exact same problem. been diagnosing and messing with this for weeks now and cant figure it out. ive swapped about everything possible.

changing my tune back to stock, and opti are only things i havent touched

autolite 3923s i believe i bought. maybe 3924

What coil are u running?

switched from msd to a stock coil cause this problem. switched between 2 icms as well. made no difference
