I moved from upstate NY to FL when I was 18. I do not miss shoveling haha. The last winter I was home before I moved it was -7* for a week or two, too cold to snow, everything just frozen and it hurt to breathe

Sneaux down da bayou. Bout 4" so far.Attachment 40694Attachment 40695
spoke to the machinist today, should have the intake back sometime this week or next Saturday, he got a bit busy with work, they prototype parts for penske nascar and imsa teams
got the cowl plastics off and have a serious decision to make, do we keep wipers or not. I found a thread where someone kept both wipers by cutting out and moving the passenger wiper mount/bracket over about 8" and shortened the arms. but the reality is the car is never going to be rain driven with the 4150 throttle body
@Injuneer what are your thoughts?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...98351bf306.jpg

I think you're locked in to deleting the wipers….. at least the motors and mechanism. Any chance you can keep the arms for appearance?
I think somewhere earlier I posted a photo of Baxter's elbow/TB setup, and as best I recall the wipers still worked. Maybe it was a requirement of the PRO/Edelbrock Extreme Street class he was racing in. But I have to assume his 1,350 flywheel HP setup was only suitable for forced induction, and not for NA/N2O. It's way beyond my pay grade :) .
If you don’t see any street driving, go for it. I'll still be happy seeing the 9-second passes. 👍 👍 👍
I would try and keep at least the driver side wiper.

looking thru old stuff, i still have jon aadland's page bookmarked and was able to find some comparable pics. His was just a regular super vic, which was 5.47" carb pad height, then he ran what appears to be a 1" spacer below his fast tb (accufab makes the tb's for fast, they are identical). he fit that without loosing his wipers.
the super vic 2892 i am running is a 6.47" carb pad height, and i am running no spacer with a accufab 4150 tb, so in theory i should be the same height/location he was, and may be able to keep both wipers.Attachment 40696
Maybe clamp a plate under the cowl and make a nice cutout with a 6" hole saw?
That fella's work looks sanitary!
