FINALLY got back to the build yesterday and today.

Engines off the stand at last, the tranny/stall bolts up, the headers, plugs, wires and harness are sitting on a cart waiting for tomorrow; the car's on the lift, waiting for rejuvenation...

Looking good! I fired mine up for the first time (again) yesterday for about 3 seconds. But, it was 3 seconds of pure open-header heaven.

Installed the Kooks Headers... Can't say enough for the Kooks units. They hug the floor pan, and went in so ridiculously smooth... tightened down and for the first time in 5 years of headers, I had no header leaks.

The build is looking good, I like the kooks alot myself better than the hookers I was running.

Called Kooks today to check on the Y-Pipe and was told that they'll be buildin' it in two weeks...
Which SUCKS, given that Dude said he had one on the shelf and would have it out the door that day.
Oh well... this kinda crap seems to be the constant theme of this build... and my life in general here lately. :jest:
