Glad to hear this, Larry!
awesome to hear some progress is FINALLY being made!
Well, today I went and saw the surgeon who sent me for the Arthrogram that found the tear...
He confirmed the tear, and we discussed the next steps....looks like I will be starting physical therapy for my hip, while getting ready to meet with and speak to a surgeon who can do the hip surgery (apparently its not that common to do orthoscopically, and I am trying to avoid being fileted open.)
Now, the only issue is, as long as I am still being forced to come to work and Im riding a desk, I will not have enough LEAVE time to do any of this stuff without getting terminated, so until I get word from the insurance company that I can go back out of work...its gonna have to wait while I "play the game" and let my attorney do his thing.
I did however give the Chief all of the paperwork I received, and made it clear that the twp will now assume liability if anything happens lands dirrectly on the TWPs shoulders... so we will see what happens.
Nice man hoping it goes well
Isn't it a bittersweet moment when a doctor confirms you have an injury? On one hand it sucks because obviously you are injured, but on the other hand it confirms the pain you've been telling them about. It seems that the word "pain" is almost a dirty word anymore, full of judgement, doubt, and suspicion of "drug seeking". I can remember being relieved when my MRI results showed ruptured discs. It silences the nonbelievers...
