Definitely won't be there. Tree fell in the back yard in the wind, and crushed the roof of the Subaru in the driveway. What a f’n mess.

WHAT OMG ! thats CRAZY! As long as you and the wife are okay!!
Well we went today. first pass off the trailer was a 11.73 at 117 off idle. Osie let me know it looked fat going down the track and was kind of puffing smoke a little.
took some fuel out, tried footbraking the new converter went 11.79-117.27 but didnt have a good burnout. Car felt stronger and osie said it looked fine going down track. Checked the wideband and it was in the low 11's- high 10's so i took fuel out and it went 11.78-117 again. ok fine
Last pass took 2% fuel out in the maf tables, got the wideband reading in the high 11's low 12's and it went 11.749-117.5 again.

Did the converter feel better?
No problem here, we're OK…. fortunately the tree just missed the house. Was a double tree, two huge trunks, hadda be 70’ tall. If the Formula was parked where it was when you picked it up, it would have been history.

Oh man, thats crazy! we heard trees cracking last night, i was worried about my trailer, i just got it, the ink isnt even dry, and i have a temp tag still lol
Converter felt much better. i could footbrake it to 2700-2800 rpm, it flashes well to 4k rpm on motor, im excited to see what it does on spray. also, with the new cam, it pulls hard to 7k.

had the tuner look over my crap and do 5 revisions this week. just changed the plugs to nitrous plugs, got the LTCC back from bob bailey so going to reinstall that too plus change the oil again

Just to be clear - My issues with the "resurrection" thread on Firebird Nation were not with you. The guy that was asking the questions ("Jpar") has been a thorn in my side since he joined.
understood, no problem. he seems a bit d-baggy
in other news i got the LTCC reinstalled (purchased a new harness from bob bailey to make sure i wouldnt have issues) but reused my coil harnesses that i know worked in the past. guess what, one of them was messed up and causing a no start condition. i was super mad because i spent all day saturday putting the nitrous plugs in, making nice brackets for the LTCC, routing the LTCC harness all nice with wire clamps etc, then almost tore it back out. i crawled underneath the car and bumped the 1-3-5-7 coil harness when crawling under and it popped the ignition fuse.
removed those old coil harnesses and used the ones osie had laying around (he bought the efi connection assembled coil packs/harness for his build so he had extra) and boom car fired right up. nitrous retard is wired in and tested. the tune was revised by the big fb lt1 tuner brandon strong and she feels super super strong now.
have m&h radial frontrunners coming for my jegs 5 star wheels, and working on swapping the et radial pros over to my billet specialties wheels this week. want my shiny wheels back on the car. also have to stop at bruce's speed shop to get the nitrous filled. hoping for good weather sunday at island.
soooo sadly bruce passed away and the shop is closed until monday, so no nitrous hits this weekend [emoji22]
got my dancing shoes on. one thing i dont like about radial skinnies, they always look flat, even at max pressure. they are M&H racemaster 185/55/17 radial front runners. set them at 35psi (sidewall max) and they still look squished [emoji30]
maybe motor hits again this weekend. Attachment 40435

Car looks great, hope you do some good N/A passes this weekend.
It's a shame the Speed Shop guy passed away. Hope his shop stays alive.
I have a great appreciation for traditional speed shops because they have all gone extinct down here. There are only a hand full in the whole State.
There are plenty tuner/high performance repair/modification shops, but barely any brick and mortar speed shops that you can walk in and buy stuff off the shelf.
longer winded post tomorrow
got a 11.67 at 116 pass today, 1800 da. talking to a few people they are saying spin it higher than 6800https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0de58ff773.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...98e5aac8b2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0ac8dfaeaa.jpg
