Thanks man... enjoy the read. Its clear as I go back and read over this, the rollercoaster ride has become more evident and they are clearly stooping to a LOW......

Now the newest game since i wasnt phased by the heat attack..

Chief approached me and said..."i dont need u and the secretary here at the same time.... So she will come in an hour early...(9-1)...and you (me) can come in from 12noon to 8pm....."

So i am now the midshift secretary...lol.

I dont mind sleeping in before comming in...but he thinks he is punishing me by not allowing me to socialize with the roadcrew in the am...and also having lunch with them at 1130.... Oh well....

I was at a cop friends bday this weekend and i was speaking with another chief of police...he couldnt even believe any of this....

Oh man, not to belittle the situation.... but Id love a work day with those hours...

And.. You know how to handle this one already... Get them by the nuts again by, well, not reacting at all. Theres nothing that could piss them off more when they try to get to you, and dont one bit.

They are ok hours...if....I applied to be a secretary.

Personally I love those hours but sounds like he is trying to separate you from everyone to break your spirit. Like Sean said don't let it bother you

Well first off, we are not an 8 hour shift dept.... so those hours are not even a shift that is aknolweged by our contract....

But that aside... when I was doing my job... those hours wouldve sucked.... last thing you want is to work during the day time as a cop...if you wanna do cool COP stuff...chases...fights.....shit like that.

Anything during day light hours are calls like.. "my neighbors dog pooped in my yard." or "my son does not want to go to school." with a small share of cool stuff.... now, after the sun goes down...thats when it ALL happens....

thats beside the point.... it is to separate me from them... but at the same time it separates me from him... so I'm thinking I may be bothering him sitting at the PD all day with nothing to really do.... so... he pushes me out....
