Is exactly what I have been hoping to see come available. The swap into a 4th gen is not impossible with the right time and tools and the price is not horrible considering you get a complete drivetrain and the suspension. If I had the money I would cut up 93 to put this in.
Ur the first person I thought of when I saw the ad based on conversations we had un the past
gotta love that the top of the line small block was the lt1 in 1970 then gm brought back the lt1 in 92 in gen 2 form and now here we are again the lt1 live's on for another generation.
I'm thinking of keeping the beetle body when I am done with the car. I envision a vette chassis swap in that body. I'm gonna keep the 93 as is, mainly because of the obd1 and delaware inspection.

Average guy and build is going to stick with what's easy and makes power.
This would make the ultimate LTx based 4th gen, IHMO.
As as aside, I agree with Neil350. The LSX has become the new SBC and it will be a long time before a new crew of hotrodders are actually really modding the GEN V LT1. The tech with Direct Injection and the PCM control of valve events is totaly beyond, but it really limits how much we can extend it beyond stock.
