I bought one of these and it had the gm number engraved, as well as the Mitsubishi sensor inside. It's just a spare so I haven't used it yet

I bought a A1 Cardone new unit at Autozone a long time ago and I've had no issues with it. It was about 300 if I remember correctly. All I did was a continuity test on the cap (I previously bought an AC Delco rotor and cap kit and the cap didn't have continuity to one of the cyls so I never installed it), loctite the rotor, put some RTV on the edges of the cap, put brand new gaskets and RTV when installing the water pump, made extra sure there was no leaks of anything anywhere and also replaced the check valve of the ventilation system and I'm one happy LT1 owner :)
I think I am just going to get the GM opti from summit.
My motor is getting a picture perfect rebuild/cam/diff heads and I dont want to have to touch this motor for years.
You all that where saying no to the chandler opti. Have you ever used one before?
