I was talking to a friend tonight and he mentioned that moser made a axle tube end that I would just replace it after I cut the ford one off. Probably a better idea then dont have to worry about getting the axle housings straight.
Found out the main reason why 9" takes extra horse power is not necessarily becasue the ring gear is bigger is because it is offset from the ring gear. If it was in the center it wouldnt be such an issue. You would have a little bit more rotating
mass but not alot that a person couldnt live with it.
