And the bump stick! Comp Cams 503. Not super ideal, but then again, comp cams recommended a cam with 230/236 .576in/.570ex on a 113 lsa. I think I'll be alright...
Looks like a sick build. Im gonna deffiently keep a eye on this.
Started dissassembly of the 200 dollar motor. Definitely lucked out, it looks almost brand new inside. Pics to follow tomorrow.
Day two ended a little farther behind than I would have liked, but the hub wouldn't budge off the crank snout. Anyways, here's some pics.

Basically some pics of the first two days of the teardown. I should have been able to have the motor entirely dissassembled today, except that the hub would not budge from the crank snout. I basically destroyed 4 sets of bolts trying to get that thing off and it just would not budge. And the smudging on the rod journals is from me poking around at it. This motor is super clean inside.
looking good man.. im ganna pick up a spare motor to play around with when i get back from basic so i can build one and still drive one at the same time..
Finally got the crank hub off today, though I can't get to the rear main just yet, need to finagle some room on the engine stand to get the flex plate off.
Keep it going!!
Looking good man.
It's pretty damn cool to be super resourceful, get your build done, spank somebody, and tell them how much $ you have in your build...and watch their eyes get wide!
This is like the opposite of my build. I don't even want to know how much I've spent anymore.
