Stall Wall?
Usually 3k and above stalls will experience a no shift condition because the computer registers it as slip at wot, so then the computer won't launch in first on next hit, basically it's in limp mode. There is a table which escapes my mind right now but you have to change the value for the 98% and 100% throttle vs map or something value to zero so it will shift. @MoeHorsePower can elaborate
As SSlow says, usually when stall start approaching the 3600+ range, then tranny experiences the "Stall Wall Effect" where the car will not shift from say 1st to 2nd and you end up bouncing off the rev limiter, if this happens just let me know and I will tell you how to fix it..
MoeHorsePower: Yes it has bounced off the rev limiter and it also feels like it needs firmer shifts. I have 100 psi on the main line pressure.
TCC FORCED WOT LOCK SPEED THRESHOLD VS GEAR
........Lock - Unlock
2nd .255.00 254.00
3rd .95-------90
4th . 95------ 90
Should I mess with the TCC Normal Release / Engage modes?
Did you want to see the tables for the transmission? (I have the engine tune almost dialed in.)
MoeHorsePower: How do I fix this issue?
I'm having the same issue w a yank 3200
