i thought about countersinking them into the back of the back seat.... but screw that
A friend of mine had the same thing. Did a carpeted raised frame around them with cut outs for the equipt... hid all the wires and looked like everything was flush mounted.

Not my picture, but mine looked just like this (Kicker L7 10") and the rack had two amps and a cap.

95albinobird where are your speakers? Is your speaker box custom made or something you can buy? What about that one Harner shared is it custom? I'd like to have a sub back in my car. I had custom made a box years ago but it got broken while it was out of the car. I spent a ton of time making it and was too heart broken to make another one. I had JL W3 in my box.
